3GP is a file format which is used in mobile phones to store media (audio/video). 3GP stores and deliver high quality format videos. 3GP Videos are new cutting edge technology to carry your favorite music videos and songs which can be shared among friends.

You can get the 3gp videos from the computer on your mobile phone using a data cable, infrared or your bluetooth connection. Most 3G capable mobile phones support the playback and recording of video in 3gp format. Some newer cell phones without 3G capabilities may also playback and record in this format.

3G is the third generation of tele standards and technology for mobile networking, superseding 2.5G.
3G networks enable network operators to offer users a wider range of more advanced services while achieving greater network capacity through improved spectral efficiency. Services include wide-area wireless voice telephony, video calls, and broadband wireless data, all in a mobile environment. Additional features also include HSPA data transmission capabilities able to deliver speeds up to 14.4 Mbit/s on the downlink and 5.8 Mbit/s on the uplink.

3GP files are viewable on a PC using 3GP Player, QuickTime, RealPlayer, MPlayer, VLC Player, Total Video Player, The KMPlayer. 3GPP, 3GPP2 are the new worldwide standard for the creation, delivery and playback of multimedia over 3rd generation, high-speed wireless networks. Defined by the 3rd Generation Partnership Project and 3rd Generation Partnership Project 2 respectively, these standards seek to provide uniform delivery of rich multimedia over newly evolved, broadband mobile networks (3rd generation networks) to the latest multimedia-enabled wireless devices.

3GP is the standard used today on the 3G mobile phones. It is distinguished in two different standards; the 3GPP, which is used on GSM-based phones and have the file extension, .3gp. There is also the 3GPP2, which is for CDMA-based phones, and have the file extension .3g2. These two standards are MPEG-4 and H.263 based while having an AAC and an AMR audio. This multimedia container format was defined by the Third Generation Partnership Project (3GPP), a group of telecommunications partners, the ETSI from Europe, ARIB/TTC from Japan, TTA from South Korea, CCSA from China, and ATIS from North America.

4). Another Flash Test 3gp video info: Another Flash Test This is an idea I had for entering the Newnuma.com contest. I bought the official MP3 file from their site, but I can't get the MP3 to import into flash. So for the sake of this test, I put in some misc mouth movements and saved the file to an avi file. I then went to Pinnacle and used several copies of the avi file, which I immediately saw was a horrible quality (probably due to me messing up the export in some way). Anyway, I added the Newnuma mp3 file and created this file just to put it on YouTube. I'll use this file to go to the Cartoon Network forum to ask what I've done wrong. Of course any ideas from anyone here would also be greatly appreciated.
